Biography
Nathan Cox is a MA/PhD student in the Film and Media Studies department at UC Santa Barbara. He received a BA in Religion from Boston University, BFA in Studio Art from the University of Illinois – Chicago and MFA in Spatial Art from San José State University. His doctoral research examines multimedia exhibitions featuring prehistoric life and evolution, and he has also written on themed entertainment, animation and music. In addition to his scholarly work, he maintains studio art and museum exhibition practices.
